Applied Metrix LLP is a privately owned company headquartered in Natick, Massachusetts. Founded in 1996, we have grown rapidly to be recognized as the leader in the dynamic field of marketing integration services.

Our pioneering work has led to the development and deployment of a real-time Internet enabled Audience Relationship Management (ARM) system called marketingdotnet.

Charles S. Barrs: Founder and Managing Partner
Mr. Barrs is responsible for directing the business analysis, information discovery and business application phases of client engagements. With over 20 years of experience in information technology consulting and services, Mr. Barrs has focused the past 10 years of his career on applying quantitative techniques to the goal of reducing a client’s overall "go-to-market cost." During this time he has been the founder of three companies dedicated to improving marketing and sales productivity and has held the following positions:

  • Senior Vice President, Analytic Services, Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopolus Advertising
  • Founder and CEO, The MSP Group, Inc.
  • Founder and President, ResponseNet
  • Senior Associate, for the management consulting firm Temple, Barker & Sloane
  • Director, United Computing Systems (Kansas City, Missouri)

Mr. Barrs is a graduate and teaching fellow of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, (M.S., Management Science) and Boston University (B.S., Operations Research).

 

Robert Mushkin: Partner
Mr. Mushkin advises executive management on applications, specifically on business strategy implications and marketing and sales productivity. With over twenty years experience in the financial services industry, Mr. Mushkin through his company Roberts Associates, has focused on developing best-in-class practices in the critical area of strategy development and implementation to better deliver superior customer service. He has held the following positions:

  • Founder and CEO of Roberts Associates
  • Vice Chairman Fleet Financial Group
  • Vice President Reservations TWA Inc.

Mr. Mushkin holds an MBA from Harvard University, has served on a number of boards including Visa and Harvard Community Health Plan.

 

Alan Bresnick: Partner
Mr. Bresnick advises executive management on retail industry applications and operational matters. With extensive retail experience at the highest levels of responsibility, Mr. Bresnick was a key member of the executive team credited with developing the highly innovative go-to-market strategies, which resulted in record revenue performances at both Tweeter Inc and Purity Supreme. He has developed particular expertise in mediation and arbitration and has held the following positions:

  • President, COO and co-owner Tweeter, Etc
  • Senior Vice President, COO and Treasurer Purity Supreme, Inc.

Mr. Bresnick holds an MBA from the University of Michigan, is a CPA, a member of MAMPP and SPIDR.

 

Craig Ross: Director of Analytic Services
Mr. Ross is responsible for directing analytic services for Applied Metrix. He has pioneered the application of advanced analytic methods to a wide variety of business problems including profit segmentation, product pricing, customer retention, and promotional response. Mr. Ross is noted for the clarity he brings to complex business problems. During his career, Mr. Ross has held the following senior positions:

  • Partner, The McKenna Group, LLC
  • Founder and President, Cogent, Inc.
  • Founder and Director, DiaLogos, Inc.

Mr. Ross has an MBA from Northeastern University and a BS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
